School IELS (The Institute of English Language Studies - IELS) was founded in 1985 and accredited by associations of language schools FELTOM, FITYO and ALTO.

The main school, which is for adults only, is located in the lively seaside resort of Sliema, just 3 miles from the capital Valletta. St. Julians, Malta’s nightlife area is only 15 minutes away along the promenade. This modern centre is air-conditioned throughout and boasts bright well equipped classrooms, vending machines with snacks and drinks, a cafeteria, a bookshop, and an internet café with Wi-Fi access. There is also a self-access centre offering a selection of books and multi-media software free of charge.

Our dedicated centre for the ever-popular Young Learners programme is just 10 minutes walk from our main adult school. The centre is ideally located on The Strand close to the popular sea resort of Sliema and the Young Learners Centre has undergone a major refurbishment programme and has been renovated to create a dedicated learning environment for teenagers that is second to none.
The centre comprises an open-plan student lounge with a reception area, modern administration office, 60 bright and airy classrooms, and a large internal courtyard providing a spacious area where our students can enjoy their lunch break and mingle with their fellow students. The centre is managed by our team of academic, leisure and welfare co-ordinators and supervised by a centre administrator, thus guaranteeing a smooth operation and a pleasant experience for the students.

ELS Gozo is ideally located in Ghajnsielem within walking distance of Mgarr Harbour where ferries run regularly taking just 20 minutes to cross to and from the main island of Malta. Ghajnsielem is an attractive village with a strong sense of community and a thriving social life.

Our school is located on the main road on two floors in a modern building, the first floor is dedicated to the teaching centre, which is fully air-conditioned and comprises 10 bright classrooms, a video room, an administration office and a reception area. On the second floor, one can find the student residence.
IELS Gozo is open from April to November.
